BACKLIGHT FUNCTIONALITY

When the system is in Confidential Mode or during an AC

power loss, the intensity of the keypad’s backlight

automatically decreases to a Level 1 setting. During this time,

if a key is pressed on the keypad, the backlight switches to

regular intensity and then returns to the Level 1 setting when

all actions on the keypad cease. The backlight returns to

regular intensity when the system is no longer in Confidential

Mode or when AC power is restored.
