module with its corresponding supervision option enabled in the control panel (see pages 41 and 42) is
disconnected.
PRINTER FAULT: An error has occurred on the Printer Bus Module.
FAIL TO COMM UNICA TE: The control panel has fail ed all attempts to communicate with the central
station. The report code will be transmitted upon the next successful attempt.
8.2.11 SYSTEM TROUB LE RESTORE REPORT CODES

Whenever the system restores one of the troubles listed in section 8.2.10, the control panel can send the
appropriate report code to the central station identifying the type of system trouble restore. If Telephone
Line Monitor ing is enabled ( see page 36) , the control panel can also transmi t a T LM Restore report code.
8.2.12 SPECIAL REP O RT IN G CODES

Whenever the system generates one of the instances listed below, the control panel can send the
appropriate report code to the central station identifying the type of system occurrence.

COL D START: The control panel was completely shutdown (no battery, no AC) and then was re-started.
TEST REP O RT : A test report has been generated automatically (see page 36).

8.3 CENTRAL STATION TELEPHONE NUMBERS
Section [1 51 ] = Ph one#1 , [1 52] = Phon e#2, [15 3] = Backup Phon e#: Up to 32 digits
The Spectra Control Panels can dial up to 2 different central station telephone numbers. You can enter any digit
from 0 to 9 and any special keys or functions (see Table 7) up to a maximum of 32 digits. For more information on
how these telephone numbers are used, please refer to Event Call Direction on page 34 and Re porting Form ats in
section 8.5. After the Maximum Dialing Attempts (see page 35) to one central station telephone number have failed,
the control panel will then dial the backup telephone number. If the Alter na te D ial Option (see page 35) is enabled,
the control panel will dial the programm ed backup telephone number after every failed attempt. If no backup
telephone number is programmed, the control panel will never report to the backup telephone number. Also refer to
Delay Between Dialing Attempts on page 35.
