TELEPHONE CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS

provided jacks, or equivalent, in such a manner as to allow for easy, immediate disconnection of terminal equipment. Standard jacks shall be so arranged
tha t, if plug connect ed th ereto is withdrawn, no interfe rence to ope ration of equipment at cust omer's premises which remains conn ecte d to tele phone
network shall occur by rea son of such wit hdra wal.
INCIDENCE OF HARM
Sh ould te rmina l eq uipment/protect ive circuitry cause harm to teleph one n etwork, teleph one company shall, wh ere pract ica ble, no tify customer that
temporary disconnection of service may be required; however, where prior notice is not practicable, the telephone company may temporarily discontinue
service if a ction is dee med reasonab le in circumstan ces. I n ca se o f temporary discontinu ance, t elep hone company sha ll promptly notify customer and will be
given opportunity to correct the situation.
CHANGES IN TELEPHONE COMPANY EQUIPMENT OR FACILITIES
The telephone company may make changes in its communication facilities, equipment operations or procedures, where such actions are reasonably
requ ired and prop er in its business. Sho uld an y such cha nges ren der customer's termina l eq uipmen t incompat ible with the te le phone company facilities, the
custo mer shall be given ad equa te not ice to eff ect the modification s to mainta in un interru pted service.

RINGER EQUIVALENCE NUMBER (REN)
The ren is use fu l to determin e the quan tity o f d evice s th at you may co nnect to your telepho ne line an d still have a ll of those device s ring wh en your
teleph one nu mber is ca lle d. I n most, bu t no t all a reas, sum of the ren's of all devices co nnected t o o ne lin e should not e xceed five (5.0). To be certain of the
number of devices t hat you may conn ect to your line, you may wa nt to cont act your local te leph one compan y.
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE FACILITY
If you e xpe rie nce tro uble with t his teleph one e quipment , ple ase cont act f acility in dica ted be low for inf ormation on ob taining se rvice or rep airs. The telepho ne
company may ask t hat you disco nnect t his equip ment from network until prob lem is corrected or un til you are sure t hat the e quipment is not malfunctioning.

This e quip me nt has been tested and found to co mply wit h th e limits fo r Class B digita l de vices, pursua nt to Part 15 of FCC rules. These limits are design ed
to pro vide reasona ble protectio n against ha rmfu l int erfere nce in a residentia l installa tion. Th is e quip me nt ge nerates, uses an d can rad iate radio frequen cy
energy, and , if not in stalled and use d in accordan ce wit h the in structio ns, may cause harmf ul in terference to radio communicat ions. However, there is no
guarantee th at interference will not o ccur in a part icular installa tion. If t his equip ment does cau se h armful int erfere nce to e quipment intermittently, the user is
encouraged to try to corre ct the inte rferen ce b y on e or more of the fo llowing mea sures: (1) re orient or relocate t he receiving a nt enn a; (2) increase the
sep aratio n betwee n the equipment a nd receive r; (3) con nect the e quipment to an out let on a circu it other t han th e one to which t he receiver is conn ected, or
(4) consult t he de aler or an experienced rad io/t v technician fo r assistan ce.
CAUTION:
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by PARADOX SECURITY SYSTEMS could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
WARRANTY
The Seller warran ts its products to be free from de fe cts in mat eria ls an d wo rkman ship under n ormal use for a p eriod of one yea r (except as indicated
oth erwise). Exce pt as sp ecifically stated herein, all exp ress or implied warrantie s wha tsoe ver, statutory or oth erwise , including without limitation, any implied
warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly excluded. Because Seller does not install or connect the products and
because th e produ cts may be used in conjunction wit h product s not manufact ured by Seller. S eller cannot gu aran tee the pe rformanc e of the security system.
Seller obligation and liability under this warranty is expressly limited to repairing or replacing, at Seller's option, any product not meeting the specifications. In
no event shall the Seller be liable to the buyer or any other person for any loss or damages whether direct or indirect or consequen tial or inciden tal, including
without limitation, any damages for lost profits stolen goods, or claims by any other party, caused by defective goods or otherwise a rising from the improper,
incorrect or ot herwise f aulty insta llat io n or use of th e mercha ndise sold.
